WANTED: YOUR DOCUMENTARY & HISTORICAL / LITERARY DRAMA DVDs & Bluerays

When the kids were small we watched a lot of Nature DVDs... They Loved It! Now that they are teenagers we want to expose them to the incredible history of our country and of the world.

We make an effort to watch TV as a family and are looking for appropriate material. While we cannot afford to buy these films new, we would pay what you would expect to sell them for at a yard sale or we could trade for some of the wonderful books we offer in our store.

We are looking specifically for the PBS "American Experience" and Ken Burns Documentaries, but will certainly consider any quality production. Historical and Literary Dramas need to accurately depict the era in which they are set and demonstrate quality cinematography and acting. A short list of titles we seek include:

"Anne of Green Gables", "Silence", "Matewan", "The Name of the Rose", "Far From the Madding Crowd", "Dunkirk", "The Sting", "The Battle of Algiers", etc.

This list is just the tip of the iceberg, but should give you an idea of what we are looking for.

Stop by with you DVDs and Bluerays. Let's Make a Deal!!!

Kindest Regards,
Ted Canaday
